Macclesfield HC is one of the oldest clubs in the region – having been founded in 1888 as a men’s club. It has existed in its present mixed state since the 1990s when Macclesfield Ladies Club merged with it.

We currently field 8 Senior teams in Saturday leagues with Men’s teams in North West Divisions 1, 4, 6 & 7 and Women’s teams in North West Divisions 2, 4, 5 & 6.

Our thriving Junior Section sees regular U13s Otters fixtures on a Saturday, with the U10 Dragons & Sharks and U8 Lions & Tigers competing in local tournaments on Sundays.

We also host Men’s O35 and Women’s O35 teams in the England Hockey knock out competitions and a social Senior Mixed side who compete in various tournaments over summer.
