Level 1 Umpiring Course

A level one umpiring course is being arranged for January 15th.

Venue - Northwich area or Golborne Sports Club.

The cost of the course will hopefully be around £30 and will last the whole day with a written exam at the end.

Movember

A few of us handsome chaps are making ourselves the laughing stock of Macclesfield and growing face fuzz for a month - but not just for fun. We are doing it to raise awareness of men’s health issues. In particular Prostate and Testicular Cancer. I'm sure every single one of us can relate to the devastating impact cancer has on a families life. The money raised goes towards raising awareness and education (catching it early) through to research and support. Please consider supporting us, and the cause. You can also have a laugh at the pictures of our Mo's.

Dominoes, a great start to the season, last league table showed the team in 4th place and have since beaten local rivals The Pack Horse 4 - 0.

Olympic Hockey Hotels

Following the Olympic ticket offer we have been able to make to members of the Hockey Family, we are now delighted to be able to you offer a fantastic accommodation opportunity at a top London hotel during the Olympic games. We have negotiated a special deal for the Hockey Family to access accommodation at the Grange St Paul’s hotel. This hotel has been exclusively booked for the International Hockey Federation and Adidas, so will have a real hockey buzz about it and we are pleased to have been able to make a small number of rooms available to you.

Hotels in London during games time are not cheap and whilst the prices for the Grange have been heavily discounted from their usual price, and they have not added a 2012 mark up (like other hotels), it is still a 5* hotel in the centre of London and the prices reflect that. 

The rooms available to you at this hotel are the Executive Rooms and there is no minimum nights stay, which enables you to book for single nights. There are a very limited number of rooms available and they will be offered on a strictly first come first served basis.

Executive Double or Twin rooms are £275 per night (including breakfast for one person)

Executive triples are £300 per night (including breakfast for one person).

Full payment is required at the time of booking and can be made by bank transfer or credit card (alternatively a cheque can be sent, but the booking will not be confirmed until payment has been received).  No amendments are possible after the booking has been made.
